LEDs in Obama's State of the Union speech!
Did you listen to The President's State of the Union address?
I (Paul Gozzo) played particular attention to Mr. Obama's comments on energy use. In particular, comments like; “Let’s cut in half the energy wasted by our homes and businesses over the next twenty years.”
There already exists a lot of technology out there to do this now. Here is a short article from Forbes addressing this very same quote and point bringing up the fact of LED lighting and the serious progress that has been made in this sector recently.
